“Chic, clean and cool hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Our suite was terrific. Roomy, hip and spacious! We booked an extra nite cause we were so pleased! Stay here for easy access to Arches and Canyonlands. Great staff, good breakfast included. Really quiet and bright!

Room Tip: Corner suite large and bright!

If you live in Soho in New York or West Hollywood in Los Angeles, then this is your hotel in Moab. It's young, hip and dripping with that cool indifference that you likely crave. To us slightly more mundane folks, we thought that the price was a little too high for what we got. The rooms are nice and the services are all there, but as others have mentioned, for what your are paying (we paid $175 per night), you really aren't getting much more than a nice comfort Inn can provide you. We also thought that the staff was a little aloof, but this is what you might expect in a hotel like this. I will try to find a cheaper alternative next time as the cost to value ratios at The Gonzo Inn is not quite worthy it.

Our room was amzing and the staff was friendly! Such a beautiful hotel! The only complaint we had was the lack of parking. We come to Moab a lot and we usually are pulling a trailer with a jeep or ATV's. The parking lot is small so we had to park on the street and making sure we had access to the trailer proved difficult. Our stay was comfortable and clean. I also dropped my tripod on our way out of the hotel and the hotel mailed it to me at home to make sure I had it! It's a definite recommend to anyone who wants a little papmering in the desert!

Moab is your headquarters for visiting Arches Natl' Park and Canyonlands N.P. (no hotels or inns inside the parks). We booked a suite for 5 nites here -- very comfortable. Nice location in the center of town, across the street from Moab Adventure Center, a pricey packager of whitewater rafting trips to Westwater Canyon and Fiery Furnace in Arches. Only negative: the breakfast room and terrace are overtaken by screaming-meemies running amok, unsupervised by any visible adults.

We stayed at the Gonzo Inn for four nights in July, staying in a ground floor King Suite. This hotel is really unique with a mix of modern and Southwestern decor. The room was very spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The staff were very courteous and professional.

Like some have mentioned, the breakfast leaves something to be desired. The selection is rather limited and the biscuits tasted like they were taken out of the freezer and left to thaw. Still, if you're heading out to the parks in the morning, this is better than nothing. We had a kitchenette in our suite so we had a small breakfast in our room most days.

Some have mentioned the rates here are a little higher than the average in the area. I found that the difference in price between a Super 8 and the Gonzo Inn was relatively small and worth every cent.

I highly recommend the Ginzo Inn to anyone styling in Moab. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gonzo. It is clean, modern and quirky. Very comfy beds. Great bathrooms. After 7 days on the road, we appreciated the reasonably priced guest laundry facilities. Great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. But why should we have to go to the front desk to request a pool towel?

Just returned from a visit to Moab for a second time. I think the Gonzo is terrific. Great price for a suite. Pool was so enjoyable in the summer heat. Breakfast included. So convenient to restaurants and shops. My room had two little porches, great for morning coffee.

Room Tip: Air Conditioners did cut off and on during the night. Rooms facing pool might be more appealing tha...
