“Exceeded Our Expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2008

If you are traveling to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, do yourself a favor and stay at the Jackson Rose Bed & Breakfast. My family had a wonderful time in this tastefully furnished historic home in the heart of Harpers Ferry. The rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean with great attention to detail. There was a cozy fire in the downstairs sitting room and a vase of fresh tulips on the coffee table. More fresh tulips were in wall sconces upstairs. Breakfast was exception! The Jackson Rose is a great value. You will not be disappointed.

“Wonderful and Historical”

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was a beautiful atmosphere, clean, and the owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. Breafast was wonderful. There was an array of freshly made food and we were full until mid-afternoon. Highly recommended. Only a stone's throw from Harper's Ferry National Park, and about 30 minutes from Antietam. Perhaps an hour and fifteen minutes to Gettybsurg. If you are a history buff, you have to stay in the Stonewall Jackson room.

“Stay Here”

My family and I rode bikes from Pittsburgh, Pa to Washington, DC, and this was the best inn overall. The hostess gave us cold water as soon as we arrived -followed by a cold beer. The interior was immaculate yet interesting. The blueberry muffins in the morning were heavenly. She even got up at 6 a.m. and made our full breakfast for us so we could make lunch near Washington, DC.

“Outstanding Experience”

The Jackson Rose B&B is a beautifully restored historic inn with the most gracious of hosts. At the end of a long bike ride, we were greeted with a large pitcher of ice water by Deb. Our hosts were helpful with every request. Our rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Our only regret was that our stay was brief.

“Very accomodating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2007

The Jackson Rose was everything a bed and breakfast should be. It has
a very accomodating hostess- Deborah. The house is decorated beautifully in a quaint, old fashioned way. It's quiet, spacious rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. I'd go back in a minute.
