“THE place to go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

Talk about Sharspburg and people always bring up Nutters. The prices are fantastic, the options are varied and the portions are plentiful. This is a cash only establishment, but it's well worth carrying a few bucks in with you. Just be forewarned, in the summer, the line snakes out the door. But not to worry....the line moves fast!

“Scoopalious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

This ice cream shop Rocks! We had a double scoop and a single for under $4. They have soft serve, hand dipped, shakes, flurries, sundaes, drinks, and services with a smile. Most days the line is out the door. Don't let this deter you from stopping in, they are fast. You will need cash, but not much. The prices are very affordable! They don't accept credit or debit. They have seating inside and a few benches outside, or you can talk and walk the town, or eat your ice cream while driving through the battlefield.

“if you're close- stop by”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

If ice cream overload is what you'relooking for, definitely try this place. The portions are huge, so be very careful what size you order as a small is perfect. This shop was recommended by a local during a visit to the area. I have been to this twice and haven't been disappointed either time. The berry ice cream is fantastic! Definitely give it a try!

“Small town gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

The selection of ice cream flavors is substantial. The sizes of their servings are huge, and a kiddy sized portion is usually plenty. The price cannot be beat anywhere in the area, with a single scoop in a cone costing less than $1.50 (perhaps $1.30). The only three down-sides I'm aware of are: 1) the line can be 20-30 people long if you catch it at their busiest, 2) they only take cash (there's an ATM at the back of the bank located across the street), and 3) the brownies they use are commercially purchased and don't have that 'home-made" taste.
