We found this by having coffee at Cafe Trieste in 2007 and asking the locals their favorites. It's in our plans and on our minds for every visit since. Back then Gigi would prepare pasta and fish in front of us. It's busier now but just as good and seafood just as fresh. The price is entirely reasonable. We always split a Cioppino, it's too much for one person after Stella and salad.
