We went to Nick's 3 times for dinner during our stay in San Francisco. It's a strange set up. Half of the place is Rouge - an all bright red bar with numerous crystal chandeliers, a black bar
and deep red booths. the other half is Nick's Crispy Tacos. You order at a small counter and there are 9-10 tables where you can eat or you can take the food to the booths in Rouge.
BE warned - Tuesday nights, Nick's is the place to be. $2 taco night.
I prefered the Taco, Corn and Black Bean Salad with the fried fish. very fresh and the dressing is great.
their corn on the cob is great too - they roll it in chili powder and mexican soft cheese.
but i'm leaving the best for last - the margaritas are cheap and good. they are small, but because they are cheap you can order many!
