“Very tasty and well priced Thai just off Union Square”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

My friend and I were looking for somewhere well priced in the city and this place fit the bill. The food was fast, good service and very tasty. Great location, one block from Union Square. Can recommend for a cheap tasty place to eat with a busy atmosphere.

“Fast food Thai”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Food was okay but kind of a bad version of fast food Thai. The pad thai was actually terrible, and we chose it because this was supposed to be its name. I certainly expected superb thai noodles.

Green papaya salad and chicken satay were also just okay, edible but not the best I've eaten.

We were served quite quickly kind of emphasizing the feeling of eating old buffet dishes.

Nice and modern decor though.

“Good solid Thai food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Went here due to reviews on Tripadvisor. It was packed at about 9pm on a Sunday night. I had a nice spicy Pad Kee Mao. My husband's dish, one of the specials, Kao Prik Sod, was tasty, but rather skimpy in portion in relation to the pile of rice served with it. Service was fine, nothing special. I would go again, but would probably order other dishes. The decor was a little too bright at that time of night, but that didn't seem to bother the many diners in there at that hour! Staff was friendly enough.

“Good - no Great Noodles!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

I stopped in here after an evening of riding a bike around SF and working up a huge appetite. The place was pretty full. Many choices on the menu and I got a recommendation from the waiter, trying out some spicy seafood noodles. It was delicious and satisfying. I'd definitely go back there. Service was good with water getting topped up regularly, and friendly conversation with staff. Had a great time and am glad I stopped in to King of Thai Noodle!
