"Boutique" it is not! This hotel is old and worn up, and desperately needs renovations. My room had an odd smell, and why trying to find the source I found garbage and a quarter inch of dust under night stands. Also, it seems that one of the nightstands had a fridge in it. I was unable to open it, but it was humming so loud (right next to the bed) that I had to unplug it. Restaurant is boring and expensive, there are much better options within 5 minute radius. The hotel is also right next to tenderloin district (look it up). I give one extra star for service - any time I would call a person would be at my door within 5 minutes.
