“Great location busy hotel!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

Our experience was really good, clean rooms, confortable beds, but may e it Endesa a bit of renovation. Good concierge recommendations, very fríendly staff but really a busy hotel.
We went for a 3 day business conference and we really enjoy San Francisco and the hotel location was a plus!.
This Hilton is located very close to shops restaurants, and market street. It has a Srabucks in the lobby wichi is really conveniente.

Room Tip: Higher floors away ice machines

Got a room on the "upgraded" floor, which I take it means more modern rooms. Room was nice but definitely a long walk from the elevators (floors are huge!). The renovated motif was nice, had a small sofa/chaise in the room. Clean room, good sleep, good location.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your upgraded room, but we apologize that it was too far from the elevators. Next time, we would be happy to try and accommodate you closer to the elevators. Thank you again for your feedback, we cannot wait to welcome you back in the future!

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting San Francisco. I was not very familiar with the area, so chose this because of the reviews and prices.
Our room was in the second tower, and we had zero view out the windows. I was offered an upgrade for $70 more per night to have a view and breakfast voucher for 2 at Starbucks....didn't take it.
The hotel was very busy with conferences- the lobby always had a lot of people in it using their computers.

The workout room was excellent.

As it turned out, I think we would have been happier near the Embarcadero as it had more of the touristy things we were looking for.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business, and chose it for its proximity to our downtown clients. The location was fantastic - right in the center of lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel room itself was just average, and seemed to be in need of an update. The bed was comfortable, and other than a few inconsiderate neighbors, the hotel was quiet.

This hotel is located in Union Square in near proximity to major shopping malls. The rooms are good and clean as promised. But the hotel entrance and the lobby does not make you feel that you are in Hilton. Maybe because there is a Starbucks in the lobby and due to this, the lobby looks overcrowded. There are long queues for checkin, which they should try to avoid.

Comfortable large hotel with helpful staff located within in walking distance of great shopping, terrific restaurants, and multiple entertainment and sports venues as well as the Moscone Convention Center. And hopping on the historic San Francisco Cable Car system is less than 2 blocks away. What more could you ask for? The hotel has a Starbucks (long lines in the AM) and a fairly decent restaurant/bar/lounge (Urban Tavern) in which we were able to take advantage of the morning buffet breakfast (just above average). And this is the most "international" environment my wife and I have experienced in years. If you enjoy being surrounded by folks from around the world (and we certainly do!) than this is the place to be. Just a pleasure.
We were in Tower 3, 16th floor. Average room, clean, compact & clean bathroom (no tub). Comfortable but not extraordinary. The pool is on the 16th floor (and it's nice just having a pool in an urban hotel).
Overall, it was a good 2 night stay and not as expensive as many other similar hotels in town.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in Tower 3 with a city view. In San Francisco, that's a plus.

Green Features: It's nice to be reminded of this. The hotel has small reminders (nonintrusive) reminding guests of the hotel's dedication to being "green".

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

I've stayed a few times here on my biz trips and my last stay was this week (June 9, 2014).

It's HUGE, I believe there're three towers(?) and always so many people at the lobby area. Very convenient, close to heart of downtown. Some blocks around the hotel are not the most desirable area, so be alert.. The renovated rooms are nice, but smaller than older rooms, shower only. I usually stay in an older room, which is bigger and has a bathtub in the bathroom.

Starbucks in the lobby is always lined up with at least a dozen people, the restaurant next door is also very busy during the breakfast. They should have ten Starbucks at this hotel - LOL

Room is usually clean, but one time my bathtub was so filthy that I had to request for cleaning. The lady came right away to clean it for me. Health club is located downstairs next to the conference center, a bit far from everything but is equipped with decent machines. Again, it's always busy!

I prefer Hilton in the financial district to this one because the other one is smaller and cozier, feels more relaxed. The other one also has an executive level, so I get upgraded to the level whenever available.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room if shower-only is OK!
