“Perfect end of a trip!”

We stayed here with out family over Easter- the location could not be better! Easy walk to Fisherman's wharf and Ghiradelli square and to jump on the cable cars! They upgraded us to a suite for our anniversary- great staff- and so nice to have the courtyard- what a treat to sleep with open windows in the heart of the city- loved our stay!

This is my favorite hotel in Fisherman's Wharf for the price. Some of the rooms facing the street are a little noisy, or if you are right next to the ice machine, but just turn on the air conditioning to drown it out. The common areas are awesome and perfect for traveling colleagues. Great breakfast in the morning and great drinks in the evening. Staff are friendly and will take great care of you.

A good clean hotel with spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is in a perfect location and but a short stroll to the Wharf area. Maybe you should try the nearby "Holywood Cafe" for breakfast, fantastic food and brilliant value!

Room Tip: Currently under refurbishment when the rooms are ready try and get one, they should be brilliant.

This is a good hotel for the price point. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they have a concierge service, wine bar and in house restaurant. It is close to the fisherman's wharf area and key public transit hubs. However there were a few instances where I asked questions and received incomplete information that would have made the experience smoother. For instance:

(1) I was told twice the hotel has a shuttle that picks up from the SFO airport. This is partially true. The hotel contracts with Airport Express, a shuttle company that picks up at the airport for $17 per trip. If I had been told this upfront, it would have saved me some time wandering around outside the airport looking for a Pier 2620 hotel shuttle.

(2) You can purchase the breakfast buffet or order off a menu. I would have definitely been eating the brie stuffed french toast in the morning and not gone to Starbucks had I known it existed.

Overall it was a good experience. I would stay there again...and ask very detailed questions since they don't provide complete information.

My Husband and I arrived at this hotel on the 23rd of April for a 4 night stay. (We're still here at the minute!)
We had a mammoth trip planned all around America, but really found accommodation in San Francisco problematic To agree on. So many locations, so expensive!

After searching and investigating, we decided on the Fisherman's Wharf area. Super expensive, but super pretty and convenient.

Pier 2620 was one of the "reasonably priced" hotels. We had little expectations.

We checked in and have found this place spotless (I really do mean exceptionally clean!)
The staff are wonderful and helpful. We were given a money off booklet and some great advice.
Had a minor issue with some very inconsiderate guests.. which you are likely to get anywhere.

The Manager named Ramel resolved our issue immediately and effectively.
He fixes problems and follows up. I really get the feeling that he cares- which is lovely!

Comfy beds, amazingly soft pillows (and lots of them), a filter coffee machine in the room, a safe, a refrigerator and a gloriously clean bathroom!

The housekeeping here definitely have a lot of pride in their work.

Would highly recommend this hotel.
And with a 5-10 minute walk to the coast (Pier 39 ect), I wouldn't stay elsewhere in San Francisco when we return.

Cannot believe that some of the more expensive hotels are charging double than the rate of this one!

Thank you, Ramel and Co.

:-)

The Hotel is very well located, the rooms are not too big but has a good size and the bathroom is ok.
The staff is good. The first night we were addressed to a room that disliked me and I asked for change and the next day I was sent to a new room, with view to the street.
Than, this is the problem. some rooms are located in the inside part of the hotel with no view to the outside, what is not good.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the street

we stayed in this Hotel from 03/02/2015 TO 03/07/2015 I'll try to state advantages and disadvantages of choosing this Hotel for your staying.

Advantages.

1. Great location in regard of walking to Fishermen Wharf ( 10 mins ) walking from the Hotel. Also with fair distance to walk to Washington Square and ITS Super Brunch Place (MAMAS) and Lombard Street as well.

2. a Walgreen just across the street if you happen to need small grocery shopping.

3. Friendly Staff , willing to help if they can.

4. Free WIFI

Disadvantages

1. We requested a crib for the little boy and that crib has arrived dirty, so we decided to return it and keep the boy next to us.

2. I booked through "PriceLine" and emailed requesting King bed room and they were not able on king bed rooms as they stated when we checked in so they gave us 2 queens bed room.

3. a classy furniture for the bed room and looked OLD except for the TV.

My bottom line advice is this simply find a better alternative if you happen to have one this hotel is not above the average for sure.

Disadvantages
