“FANTASTIC SERVICE from the reception staff. Great location. Clean. Neat!! A++”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

FANTASTIC SERVICE from the reception staff. One young gentleman in particular was amazing! He was exceptionally helpfull and you could tell he had passion for his job. The cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic. It was in a really practical spot in Fishermans Wharf easy walking distance to shops/restaurants/bars. We didn’t realise until the last night there is another entry door right near the shops (so make sure to ask the hotel staff – cuts of time walking the corner). The decor was nice and modern. We absolutely loved our stay here! Easy, convenient and great staff.

Reception couldn't cope with the regular coach loads that kept arriving. The two lifts had long queues and althoug there's another lift elsehwere it's not obvious or even pointed out. Upstairs we all got lost everytime despite attempts to sign room numbers - just too long and dark to spot turns and side coridors. The room we got was next to a machinery room which was easily heard (and felt) as it sahred the same wall as my headboard. The blackout curtains didn't quite meet in the middle which was a shame becuase we overlooked the floodlit carpark.

I used reward points but would probably have complained if I'd have paid hard cash for it.

The staff were good and helpful - Isabel on reception was very welcoming as were all the other reception staff - they just had a job to make up for the quite drab and oppresive building.

Room Tip: don't use 3130 or any other next to a room marked "machinery"

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed two nights. I paid the extra fee for a balcony and it was worth it! We sat outside in the mornings before breakfast and in the evenings before bed. Perfect!
The staff was pleasant, the room clean. The bathtub had been resurfaced and was peeling slightly, so it wasn't the prettiest, but, it was clean. Our room was a decent size for two adults and one child. The usual amenities were included - soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The in-room coffee and tea were TERRIBLE! Bring your own to avoid this small disappointment.
We couldn't quite adjust our sleep number beds to our liking and wished for the old fashioned box spring & mattress! There is a very nice courtyard with a gas "fire pit" and plenty of seating, trees, etc. We enjoyed this area after breakfast one morning, too.
We parked our car in the hotel lot and didn't move it until we checked out. We walked everywhere! It was so easy to get around the Wharf and Piers on foot. We even needed a little extra time after the usual check out time and they were very accommodating.
After driving around and looking at some of the other options available in the area, I would highly recommend the Radisson Fisherman's Wharf. In fact, I look forward to visiting again!

Room Tip: If you like sitting outside, pay the extra fee for a balcony. It is so worth it!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and was very happy with it. We received a very warm welcome by reception which immediately gave us a good feeling of the place. Our room was a good size, room and bathroom were clean... only thing is we had a view of the car park. Concierge was helpful. Overall a great location in the heart of Fishermans Wharf with a good selection of restaurants nearby.

We stayed at the Radisson Fisherman's Wharf in April and May 2013 and had a wonderful time.

The hotel itself was very well run - reception was welcoming and helpful and the concierge amongst the best we have ever come across - he managed to download our complicated boarding passes after taking the trouble to contact our airline and his local knowledge was spectacular - room cleaners also did a fine job

The hotel runs smoothly and efficiently and does not waste effort on restaurants - the whole area is thick with them so there is absolutely no need for in-house meals
Our room, 4114, was fantastic - expensive yes, but worth every cent ..... windows straight out to San Francisco Bay showing the Golden Gate bridge to the left and Bay bridge to the right ...

Such a busy piece of water - America's Cup boats whizzing about (being Kiwis we really appreciated being able to see our own Emirates Team New Zealand performing so well), ferry boats, large cruise boats (Grand Princess came past out window to dock - we had travelled on her previously Venice to Rome - such a small world) and massive container ships travelling slowly through the middle of everything

We loved our 6 nights total in San Francisco - good food, cable car riding, trams, lots of walking and a mention to the Gold Dust bar a couple of blocks up from the Radisson with some very good Caribbean rums !

Thank you Radisson for your great service and amazing location

Room Tip: 4114 - as I said, expensive but well worth it with amazing views of San Francisco Bay and boating ac...

We stayed for 3 nights in July, 2013. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had adjoining rooms, one featured a microwave, the other a fridge. I guess if you don't have both its luck of the draw? Otherwise, the rooms were very clean, well laid out and featured up-to-date furniture and furnishings.

We arrived later in the evening (10:00 or so). The hotel's vehicle entrance area/parking garage is confusing and could use some better directional signage. The preferred method is to turn into the area off the lobby to park and get access to the parking deck. We pulled into the parking deck first and then had to wander through to find the lobby. This gets to be a challenge because certain doors and elevators are not operable at all times to keep the building secure. Once we got to the lobby, the staff was very accommodating, helping us find a good pizza delivery option and recommending a great restaurant for breakfast (Beach Street Cafe) and providing coupons for breakfast.

The hotel features a courtyard (furnished with a seating area and firepit, a pool and outdoor seating for the Johnny Rockets restaurant that fronts the Wharf area. Inside is a nice lobby with airline pass printer and concierge. Unfortunately, it was just a little too cool (San Francisco summers being what they are) to take advantage of the pool. Fortunately, there was no shortage of other activities in the area.

The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful from arrival to departure, accommodating all of our needs (extra pillows, removal of feather pillows and comforters, taxis to the airport, help with restaurant recommendations and reservations etc.). Nothing out of the ordinary, but all handled pleasantly, promptly and professionally.

Room Tip: There is a nice view of the Bay/Alcatraz if you take a room facing the West on the 3rd floor and up.

I'm a fan of Radisson blue hotel and a carslon member. I like in this hotel chain the confort provided associated to thesmooth and cool ambiance. Before this experience, I've never been desappointed by a Radisson, even in Tripoli, Libya.
This hotel has 2 very good points: very well located and very secure.
But, in the bathroom tubes are very old, doors are so heavy that entering your room with your luggage is an experience, only 2 lifts for such a big hotel, no room service, no bar and the worst a chemical industrial breakfast.
The corridors are terrible.
Congratulation to the photograph who has taken the pictures. He is a true artist!
This radisson offers a very poor value for money. Next time, I'll try the contender Xxxxton located just in front of.
