First, we couldn't find the hotel because all of the signage was hidden behind two large construction-site-style dumpsters. Then, we could not find the garage for the hotel's parking lot... that is because there is not one (which we only found out after calling). You must park in front of the white curb (which only holds 2 cars, 3 if the other cars are VERY considerate and park bumper to bumper).
They won't valet park you unless you are checked in. And since the hotel is in Union Square, for us, this meant parking illegally in a turning lane (luckily there were 2 of us so one person could stay with the car).
We were told that if we wanted to leave again, we should all 15 minutes for our car to come back, since it's parked offsite.
Then, if all that wasn't bad enough--we got to the room and it was TINY! There are New York studio apartments bigger than this. The homepage says spacious... but note where it says "intimate" on the Deluxe Double Room description... I think the photo was taken with a trick lens. You can compare it to the photo I uploaded to see what I mean...
Besides being a room so small the bathroom door brushes against the bed, there is no fan in the bathroom, no heater in the room, no air conditioner (just open the window and turn on the ceiling fan), no comforter (just a thin blanket with a sheet on either side), and no curtains to go over the wood blinds.
DO NOT order a deluxe double room. It will be TINY!!

Firstly, let us apologize for your unpleasant experience regarding our valet service. We are sorry for the lack of information provided at the time your reservation was booked. Usually this type of information is provided to our guests so they can know what to expect when they arrive. Also, we explain what type of transportation is available for our guests if they need an alternate form of transportation. We also want to apologize that you did not enjoy our guest rooms. If your desired guest room size be a bit larger, may we recommend the Deluxe King room or the Deluxe Queen Queen room. These guest rooms would be more favorable if you desire more space. Again, we apologize that you did not enjoy your previous stay with us. We hope you consider us on your next time to the San Francisco area.
