“Great Location in San Francisco”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

Good size rooms as per standard Courtyard Marriott. The Wifi was flaky with constant sign ins for all my Apple IOS devices, which proved really annoying. Rang their service provider with the internet & they never got back to me to resolve the logging in problems we had.
The only minor gripe was the Valet Car Parking ($36-00/day + Tax) . The car is not stored on their property but 2 blocks away. We left a camera in the car after checking in & had to retrieve the car to locate the camera.
All in All the room did not disappoint us & the Location is very good & close to most ammenities & attractions in the area.
I travelled with my 2 adult daughters & would recommend this Hotel to other fellow travellers.

Room Tip: If you feel the $41-00/day parking is excessive right next to the Hotel is a Car Parking garage $25...

+ spacious rooms
+ expandable desk, good working space
+ nice gym, though only open from 6am to 11pm (would appreciate earlier opening hours)
+ filtered coffee machine in-room, iron+ironing board
+ power sockets conveniently located exactly where needed
- internet requesting re-authentication for every device and session - with three devices I had to be consciously deciding when to be online and enter my name, room number and confirm a usage agreement at least 10 times per day.
- water in vending machines at reception
- no in-room safe box

This is the 4th Courtyard visited on this 9 day trip and it has lived up to all expectations. Ask for an E-King room - there are only 3-4 in the hotel and they an extra seating area with couch, making for a much more spacious experience. Great location for all the tourist spots along the piers. Tons of restaurant options within easy walking distance.

Great spot but like everything else in San Francisco, it's overrated and over priced. The staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful, rooms are small and it costs almost $50 per day just to park your car. Rooms are small and noisy.

The location is about three blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. It is very quiet and clean. There is a a little cafe downstairs that offers breakfast and it was an easy choice. There is valet parking with in and out privileges and it was $36 a day, which is cheap for San Francisco The beds are quite comfortable. The only drawback is that it offers free wifi in the rooms and it did not work. The wifi must have been a fluke. We would stay here again.

The exterior of the hotel and hallways were a bit dated and worn, however, the rooms and common areas were clean and upgraded. The elevators were broken the day we checked in so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. The front desk and conceirge staff were very friendly and helpful! The location is just steps from Fisherman's Wharf! The onsite parking was expensive ($36/d), however, there is a public garage next door that is $32/d. We opted for the hotel parking because it was unlimited in/out whereas the garage was pay each in/out. The cafe had minimal choices and was overpriced. Don't bank on having a rollaway bed!

If you are looking for a clean hotel with a good location, this is the place for you. Our family of 5 stayed there for 2 nights and cold walk to all the major locations and attractions such as the cable car, Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf. Parking is right next store. We would stay here again.
