Yes - regular rooms are small but got upgraded to penthouse suite. only paid $149 per night. Wow. Living room/bedroom set up facing the water with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay bridge. Balcony (if you climb out the big windows).

Service as always at kimpton is top notch. You have a loyal fan. You must sign up for intouch program for free wifi and $10 free mini bar purchase. All is quiet and beds are super comfy. I also stay at Kimpton on post street (prescott) - both properties are great.

My wife and I decided to come into SF at the last minute and were able to secure a great rate. The wine hour was fantastic and the location is even better. It's right across the street from the bay bridge and Ferry Building. This could be the best location in the city. Are room was a little small, but that's to be expected from a city boutique hotel. All in all, great experience.

Had a great stay at the Harbor Court earlier this year. The hotel is a block off of the Embarcadero, and quite well-appointed. Other reviewers have commented on the cozy-ness of the rooms. I'd agree; for an adult or two no problem unless you need to spread out, but I found it cramped to even use the desk. Definitely not a family hotel unless they have larger rooms (which I didn't ask about.)

Next door restaurant Perry's for breakfast; fine but nothing to return to.

High point was the very convenient location -- I'd go back if I needed to be near the Embarcadero, but would look for a different place if I brought the kids.

Really enjoyed my stay here , with their wine hour at 6 and the cookies and milk at 9 what more could you ask for.
Well a good question, the service provided by most the staff was below standard to that you would expect from an American Hotel.
The only member of staff that exceeded my expectations was Luis, he was the bell boy aswell as the receptionist .
He made the visit, he helped with places to go for drinks and places to eat.
The other members of staff were not able to assist in any way and they also didnt carry out the services that they offered.
All in all I would return to San Francisco but only if Luis was running this Hotel.

Hi jo952-

I read your review hoping you would elaborate on what in particular needed improving with our service, but I only saw positive mentions. Thank you for mentioning Luis’ name in your review. He will definitely be recognized for that. Luis is an excellent employee and we are very lucky to have him and I am happy to hear you had such great interactions with him.

I was at the wine hour both of the nights you stayed with us and I am sorry you did not mention your issues with the service levels, because I would have loved to have corrected the perceived lack of service by some of our staff. We want all of our guests to feel cared for and welcome in our hotel.

If you make it across the “pond” for another visit to San Francisco, we would love to have you as our guest, again. If Luis is not officially running the hotel, we can definitely put him in charge during your visit.

Sincerely,
Jason Stone

I loved this hotel and all it had to offer, from a great location to personal service and an excellent staff. Being right down the street from the Ferry Building is a real plus if you love great food there are some excellent restaurants in the area and a terrific farmers market 3x/week. We also took the ferry over to Sausalito and we were within easy walking distance of Union Square. Our room did not have a view, but just outside the hotel was a beautiful view of the bay bridge. We had booked a Queen room, and I was concerned that it would feel extremely small, but I was very pleased with the layout and extreme cleanliness of the room. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a decent boutique hotel and fairly priced. Just be prepared for small rooms, inconvenient steps between lobby and elevators (not easy with suitcases), and be ready to walk or cab it to Financial District and restaurants. Many amenities such as free YMCA fitness center access (next door), milk and cookies at night, wine reception in evening make it worthwhile. No in-room coffee makers but free coffee in hotel lounge. Tight rooms make it not kid friendly but there are bathtubs. Staff tends to be unfriendly, "too cool for school" attitude. Free wifi only for returning guests.

Spent the night Saturday and our room had an amazing view! The staff was very professional and friendly and made our stay one we will never forget. Great location in the financial district on Embarcadero near Farmers Market and AT&T Park as well as a short walk to Union Square. Jason with Harbor Court Hotel hooked us up and made our trip fantastic. We will definitely be back and will recommend them to all our friends! It's cool that they're pet friendly. Great place, nice people, you can't go wrong at Harbor Court.
