Stayed at Hotel Palomar in July for business. The hotel is great. One of the more comfortable beds that I have slept in. Room was spacious as well. I stayed on the 5th floor (same floor as gym and restaurant) which I thought would be a bit too busy but that was not the case at all - I actually enjoyed being on the same floor with these amenities. The staff was great and thought the iced tea/lemon water was a nice touch in the lobby.
The only small issue I had was that my room faced the corner of 4th/Market which was quite noisy due to the 'band' playing outside daily from 9a-5p...My reco is to ask for a room that doesn't face this corner!
