Everything about our stay at Best Western-Tuscan Inn was great, location to the wharf, cable cars and everything we wanted to see and do. It couldn't have got any better for the price, will definitely return.

I have been staying at the Tuscan Inn for the last ten years, always in June in connection with an annual event in San Francisco that I participate in. The location of Fisherman's Wharf area made me suspicious, as the area is very "touristy". However, the Tuscan Inn has the best of all worlds- great location, all the amenities, excellent staff, nice restaurant adjoining, and very reasonable prices. They have guests from all over the world, and the tradition of wine tasting each evening makes for some great new acquaintances and friendships.

I booked this hotel because of the reviews was not disappointed. Was surprised upon check-in to get an upgrade without even asking. Nice, clean rooms. You could eat off the bathroom floor it was so clean. Across the street from Safeway which makes it nice to get drinks and snacks for a lengthly stay. One block from Trader Joes, Borders Book Store, a few other places. Close to everything.

We decided to change our travel plans when we saw the great rates offered at this Best Western in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco. It is close to the special attractions of the waterfront, cable cars and stores. Rooms are very comfortable and we were charged $15 for parking our motorcycle in the garage. There is a concierge, also free wine and appetizers in the afternoon. It is one of the few opportunities to socialize with other travellers and we picked up some great tips from a couple from Denmark.
On the downside, this is the only Best Western on our trip that did not offer a continental breakfast, just a beverage. So, be prepared to go out somewhere for breakfast or try the Safeway across the street. Would definitely return to this hotel and see more of the area.
