“overnight in SF”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We have stayed all over San Francisco but keep coming back to the warf area for convienence. This last week we tried the Tuscan Inn at fishermans wharf. Very convienent to find with on site parking (expensive) but fast valet service for bring ing up your car and easy registration and bag unload right by the front door. The room was not large but had a king with large flat screen tv. Bathroom small also but sufficient for an overnight stay. No free breakfast but staff recommended a "famous" breakfast place across the street. Utilized the business center to print our boarding passes and was pleased the hotel website that opened wasn't combersom to navigate to get to the print boarding pass section. For an overnight at a hotel close to the major attractions and short drive to the Italian eating district (Columbus) this fits the bill for us.

Room Tip: Pillows are over stuffed in case you like a flat pillow so need to ask housekeeping for more pillows...

This hotel was in the perfect location to see and walk to quite a bit in SF including Union Square (although a cable car is just a block away in you don't want to walk), Marina area, the Ferry Building, Financial District, the Wharf, and China Town. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Great and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a few minutes walk from Pier 39, the Alcatraz ferry, grocery stores and plenty of public transport. The rooms are comfortable and the staff I met were very friendly, polite and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

We arrived late and were made to feel so special. I will say ALL from the young girl who checked us in to the valet that helped with our luggage at 4 am to leave. The room was clean, the room service breakfast was beautiful and delicious.Wine was a wonderful touch.Great location.

This hotel is at a great location on Fishermans Wharf. Parking is expensive, $45 a night! And no free continental breakfast. This hotel was one of our most expensive Best Western's and we got less than others half the price. But the hotel staff are great!

Hi Judy W - Thanks for staying with us and for taking the time to share your comments. I'm glad you liked the hotel and staff. Often times great deals and promos can be found on line which include discounted room rates and free parking. I know SF can be quite expensive; however, the Tuscan is probably the best value throughout the Fisherman's Wharf area. We hope to see you again!

This was a brilliant Best Western in a perfect location. The rooms were immaculate and the staff all very friendly. The coffee in the morning was a good bonus and the wine hour in the evening was very nice. Was very cozy and warm upon returning from the cold San Francisco night.

This will niw be my SF go-to. Bed was very comfy, room and bsth reasonable size. Though nearby Sheratin, Hyatt, Hilton have more common areas and nicer in-room toiletries, this Best Western is otherwise comparable but less expensive. Plus they accept dogs; mine not w me on this trip.
