“Attentive service and tasty food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant judt yards from our hotel. Looked pleasant and busy as we passed. Being so close we gave it a try and were very pleased. Very good flavoured pasta dishes and smple sized portions. Only negative, we though the wines were a little pricey.

“Microwave doesn't belong on front line”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

Service was good.
Salad and 2/4 meals were ok.
The other 2 meals were not good at all.
Risotto was crunchy, meatballs were stone cold, veggies were stone cold....when advised they promptly took the 2 plates back to be fixed.
They were "fixed" using a microwave !!! Quality food does not include a microwave. Veggies were still cold upon return and I have no idea if the "chefs" knew how to make risotto in he first place.

We expected much more from the kitchen for $120 without wine....better options out there.

The food was a disappointment but front end staff was very good.

“Great Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

We just got turned away from a nearby Japanese restaurant that was full when we walked by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a perfect gem. Environment is cosy, a bit tight but service was good. It is one of the best Italian food I have ever had. Price is reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

“perfect”

Stumbled on this place on a rainy Saturday in the city. Food was amazing, prices were great and service was fantastic. What more could you want?

“authentic, nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

We ate here Christmas Day. The service was a little slow to start but once we got on their radar we had no issues. All of the wait staff seems to be Italian and friendly which adds to the atmosphere. The salads are large enough to share. I had clams & mussels and it was good. For dinner we had chicken marsala (outstanding), cioppino (lots of seafood & pasta(?)), eggplant casserole (w/LOTS of cheese) and a simple spaghetti marinara. We were too full for dessert. Including a bottle of wine, a beer, kid's drink, 20% tip & SFHO (health tax), it was $225 for 5 (subtotal before tax, SFHO & tip = $170). Individual items were reasonable priced (chicken marsala was $20; cioppini was $24, salads ran $8-12).
