The hotel is of course very basic, but definitely acceptable (including in terms of cleanliness) given the excellent price.
The WiFi was very slow when it was working, however more often than not it wasn't, and kept disconnecting several times per day; the owners wished they could have helped, but had no other ideas except to reset the router, which they must have done a dozen of times while I was there. More painfully, the heating in the rooms didn't work the first two nights of my stay, which, for a mid-November visit, made for rather cold nights and mornings - they did give me an extra blanket though.
The neighbourhood is the very obvious drawback of this hotel, as not even once have I approached the hotel entrance without being glared at or even approached by the *very* dodgy homeless people who live on that street, who did not seem to me "scary to look at but harmless" as another reviewer put it.
Overall though, a decent hotel experience, but I would not stay here unless you are very comfortable with shabby neighbourhoods.
