“Mmmmm! Crab Linguini was divine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

Had a fantastic meal here - arrived early (6:30ish) on a Thursday and were seated immediately (it got pretty busy afterwards though so I'm glad we got in ahead of the crowds. Delicious and well priced wine, calamari salad & baked cauliflower appetizers were delicious. But the real star was the pasta, especially the crab linguini - just mouthwatering. Would definitely go back! A nicely designed space and good atmosphere too.

“Very Good North Beach restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We ate there Sat Aug 24. Reserved table via open table, and got a table in the front by the window. It is on green street, no view. Service was OK - water glass was always full. They gave us a unsolicited free desert, a cream custard, wasn't on the menu but it was exquisite! I had the Rotili de lasagna, was very good, but wasn't really your " normal" lasagna, but was very good. GF had crab linguini, was good but too spicy for her taste. I would go again.

“Delicious and caters to a crowd and Gluten Free options!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

We were a party of 10 and although there are many large Italian restaurants in this area, its amazing how many will not take 10. This restaurant, could not have been more helpful. I have a Gluten Free child and they were able to provide a number of pasta dishes with Gluten Free pasta - yeah! The Fresh Mozzarella Starter was the best I have ever had - simply served with tomatoes and Arugala and the Pork Chop was just amazing. The service was perfect, just enough attention allowing us to catch up (reunion after 15 years) but ensuring our glasses were filled and the food came out in a timely manner. Loved it, and will not hesitate to return or recommend. Warning, the tiramasu which is amazing is big enough for two!

“Pleasant surprise.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. The truth is that we went to the restaurant next door (Sotto Mare) but it was full and so we opted to try this one without even having checked it out on Tripadvisor which we always do. The fact that we were able to walk right in with no reservation possibly meant it was not that good but I was wrong. Within 15 minutes the place was full and as it turns out the meal was excellent. All 5 of us ordered different pasta dishes and no one was disappointed in fact everybody was raving. I would highly recommend it and would have gone back if there weren't so many darn restaurants in SF!

“So good, we went twice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

This restaurant was so good, we went twice. We wished we'd gone one more time, before coming home. We went on a Friday and had lunch. Mom had risotto and I had pappardelle a la pescatora. We both were so happy with our choices. We decided to go back for dinner for my birthday. I had linguine con granchio and Mom had lobster ravioli. She must've liked it, because the look on her face is usually reserved for dessert. AND speaking of dessert, we had tiramisu, based on a previous reviewer. Oh my God!! If you can have dessert afterglow, this stuff will inspire it. BEST we've ever had!
