“Hit the Spot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

We were about 4 hours into a bike ride and were quite hungry. A jogger we encountered earlier in the day recommended Louis'. We got there around 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and there was still a 30 minute wait. We opted for carryout and ate outside of Louis' overlooking the bay. We both ordered cheeseburgers and fries. Burgers were cooked to perfection and so tasty! Fries were delicious as well. My husband liked it so much, he returned 2 days later on a solo bike ride for another burger!

“Great Breakfast and Great View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

The three of us went to Louis' Restaurant for breakfast. The place is small, but with a magnificent view while you dine. The service was great, welcoming, and very friendly.

Each of us ordered different items and each one was absolutely great. Rarely do I say this about a breakfast, but the food was very good. The omelet was perfect. Pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. The eggs benedict were perfect and the Hollandaise Sauce superb. The potatoes were tasty and crisp.

My only regret is I live 400 miles away and can’t make it there more often. Worth the stop, at least for breakfast.

“Underappreciated landmark!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Have stopped by Louis' for years on trips to the Bay area. Great breakfasts and lunches out at the end of Geary overlooking the ocean and Cliff House. They only take cash, but there is an ATM just inside the door. Breakfasts don't get any better. If you want to whine about this place, you need McDonalds!!

“Great spot for breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

We ate at Louis' after a slow drive through the golden gate park. It's location is the main appeal and is well worth it, but they make nice omelets and are very friendly. Easy to park, great view. A little pricey, but well worth it!

“Stunning Views Along With Good Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Having eaten here on a previous trip, we returned to enjoy the stunning ocean views and their good lunch food. After the arrival of our early morning flight from the Midwest, we picked up our rental car near Civic Center and headed west to the Ocean. My wife and I enjoyed the freshly grilled cheeseburgers and fries while watching boats entering and exiting the SF harbor. It was nice to get acclimated at this historic diner before heading south down Hwy 1 to Pacific Grove. We will definitely return and also recommended.
