“Great Neighborhood Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This place is a bit tucked away so we just discovered it after living nearby for a year. This is not a destination restaurant, in my opinion.

But it is exactly what you'd expect for a great neighborhood restaurant:
Well priced items that are delicious,
attentenive but not overwhelming service,
buzzing but not so crowded and loud that you can't hear your party talking,
and a place you feel completely comfortable hanging out all night drinking and ordering small plates without the pressure of people waiting for a table.

We will definitely come back again.

“Real Cuban Food and great drinks in emerging Dogpatch area SF”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

Poquito has great Cuban/South American food. Margaritas are great...happy hour is very good, food is authentic in a hip, hideaway atmosphere in emerging Dogpatch area of SF. Parking is a little tricky, but this is one to put on your list if in the area.

“The Best Mexican food ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

This is a great find if you have a hankering for good Mexican cuisine. Not too far from downtown, it is certainly worth looking for. The tortillas are made right in front of you and the food is very fresh and delicious. The chili rellenos are the best I have ever had - and I've tried them countless times. The food is authentic - not a burrito on the menu - and extremely good. Make reservations as it looks like this place has been "discovered".

“Couldn't be happier”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

This was a completely random find on a busy Saturday night in the city and I couldn't be happier we took the drive to Dogpatch. Poquito is simply amazing - the place is relatively small, but what it lacks in space, it more than makes up in service, food quality and atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. We tried 6 small (the portions are more than generous for tapas dishes) dishes and 2 desserts. All of them were so good, it was hard to pick a favorite. I definitely recommend the Arepa con Relleno and the Buñuelos for dessert, but if the 8 dishes we had are anything to go by, you can order anything off the menu and you'll be happy. Don't just go here - RUN here!

“Worth the trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012 via mobile

We went for a Sat night dinner with friends. The sangria and the Pisco sours were so tasty. The vibe is very friendly, service great and reasonable to boot. The server and owner were very helpful with the menu selections. There is parking just outside the door or the Third St line passes in front. Great little find!
