“Best crabs on the street!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

This is an excellent place for fresh seafood, especially crab! They have a sit-down restaurant, but you can be served in a street stand right in front. The personnel is very friendly. The fresh crab was absolutely delicious.

“Great Fish and Chips”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

I had the fish and chips from Nick's at the Fisherman's Wharf in San Fran and it was really good. The fish batter was tasty and the chips (french fries) were fresh and crispy. I recommend trying it out if you are in the area.

“Best food and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

This place was GREAT! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was awesome! Our waitress was on top of everything. There were 12 of us and not once did we have to ask for anything. We're from the San Fernando Valley and we can't wait to go back!

“Friendly in a sea of sharks!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

We were tired having just gotten in town and it was late so we walked down to the pier 39 area (Taylor St.) for something to eat. OMG the restaurants are like sharks here! LOL
First we were pulled into the restaurant next door and I was very upset there (it was hot, the waiters were rude an the menu sucked. Who only has tropical ice tea?)
Anyway walked out and into Nick's and they were so friendly and the calamari was good, the cioppino was good, my husbands crab was good and they actually had a vegetable. Our waiter was the best too!
Overall I was pleased.

“Great location but everything else was ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

The food here is ok but nothing you can't get anywhere else. I had a platter with crabs, scallops, shrimp, calamari and grilled fish and it was just ok. The service was not very good as our waitress didn't approach our table for about 10 minutes, never asked if we needed any refills or if our food was ok. Thankfully other people did, which helped things out a bit. Overall, not a bad choice, but for a $30 meal, I expect and have gotten a lot better elsewhere.
