“A Gem of a Place for Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

The location of Roxanne Cafe is 570 Powell St San Francisco, CA.

A great little cafe for excellent breakfasts. It's close to some of the major hotels - just a 2 block downhill walk from the Stanford Court, the Fairmont, and the Mark. Breakfasts just as varied and tasty as the hotels but half the price, and the staff couldn't be nicer!

“Good Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

A nice neighborhood restaurant in the Nob Hill area. Service was friendly, attentive. Food was good and came out in a jif. It's a fairly small place, so you may have to wait a bit.

“Poor Choice”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. Poor choice as there were better options within a short walk. Both visits were for breakfast and we would rate them as poor. Had to return pancakes as they were liquid in the center! Pancakes are hard to mess up, but they managed to do that!

“Expensive for so-so food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

This was the closest restaurant to our hotel. We'd had a busy day and thought we would give it a try but it was rather expensive for average food.

“Great breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

We often dine here when we stay at the Fairmont, in order to avoid the over priced breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast runs about 13 dollars per person.
The omelettes are very good, as are the pancakes and bacon. Service is pretty good most of the time. There sometimes is a line on weekends or during the summer.
Located a quick walk from Nob hill, however the trip back is ALL uphill.
