My wife, sister and sister-in-law spent a very entertaining night at Les Joulins Jazz Bistro, mainly through the efforts of the MC and sax player,Bill"Doc" Wilson.
His knowledge of the history of jazz was very interestingly and entertainingly presented both through his narrative and through the music the band played very well indeed. In addition, Bill's interaction with the guests was entertaining and quite facile. He is a born entertainer, and without his efforts, the bistro would struggle, if it relied on its waiters who were as ordinary a bunch as you'd meet except for the young lady who served us at the outset. $10.00 for a nip of port wine was also a bit od=f a rip-off.
