“One of the Best Breakfast Meals In Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Owned & operated by a friendly & cordial Korean couple (since 1978), this is one place where delicious breakfast is served with a big big smile. You will be entertained by the many stories the owner (husband) will tell you while waiting for breakfast to be cooked & served by his wife. Don't mind the "ghetto" atmosphere outside the restaurant... just enjoy what's inside the restaurant: cool European ambiance, friendly/cordial hosts, and really delicious reasonably-priced meals.

“Great Breakfast Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

This was an excellent find on our trip to San Francisco. It's a cute little mom-n-pop place, run by the owners, who are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. The husband takes your orders, and brings the food out, and the wife cooks the food. I ordered eggs, bacon & french toast, and everything was really yummy. Perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, big pieces of bacon, and nice thick slices of french toast sprinkled with powdered sugar. Cheap prices too. I think it was around $20 for both of our breakfasts and 2 coffees. Can't recommend this place enough!

“Great Breakfast Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

A Korean-French eatery--and they delivered awesome pancakes, corned beef hash and even oatmeal. It was a very quaint place run by an older married couple and for SF, the prices were very reasonable.

“Love this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

My husband and I were staying at the Hotel Carleton around the corner and stumbled across this place randomly. From the outside it looks sort of like a hole in the wall. It's definitely on a pretty derelict looking block. Don't let the crack heads scare you. Inside, the restaurant really is lovely and quite funky. It has a French decor, is run by a Chinese family, and specializes in all American type food. The husband told us they'd been in business for 36 years. After we tried the food, we could see why. The menu is very basic - eggs, omelets, french toast, pancakes. But it's all cooked perfectly, made fresh to order. No typical diner short cuts here. The kitchen is right at the front so you can watch as they make the hashbrowns from scratch and grill their own english muffins. We liked it so much we went back the next day. My husband got the cornbeef hash both mornings, which was awesome. I had the pancakes the first day and the french toast the second - both great. Oh and don't miss the bacon.

“Greasy spoon, friendly service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

Price is right, but food was greasy and my scrambled eggs were raw in some places. American diner type food, good service.
