“Big disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013 via mobile

The staff is extremely rude and the food was not nearly as good as it looked in the window. The only good thing that I can say is about the cannoli. The cannoli shell was thick and the filling was tasty. I the price for the slices of pizza was high especially for the quality.

“Sinful breakfast in North Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

I bet you can't walk by this place without going and buying something you see in the incredible display of yummies in the front window. There's nothing better than sitting at a table out front first thing in the AM having a cappuccino and a different unbelievably delicious pastry than you had yesterday (and the day before). OK throw in a piece of fruit you bought at one of the Chinese produce shops on Stockton and it's a healthy breakfast.

“Cannoli!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

Stopped for something to drink at the deli next door and saw the display of pastries in the window and a handwritten sign with the famous Godfather quote about taking the Cannoli so we did! Wonderful!

“Great Pastries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

Found the great pastry shop in the Italian section of S.F. Not overly expensive and the pastries are to die for. As good as Mikes in Boston, just not the selection

“Stop in for a quick yummy treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Was in SF on business, but also walked around a bit. Stopped by Mara's to see what they had. Our group had Gelatto and also the Pignolia cookies. Yum! They were so good, we came back the next day for more.
