“A Must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

We stayed at the Argonaut Hotel and this restaurant is attached to the hotel. During our week's stay - we ate numerous meals here. The prices are very good for San Francisco. The food, selections, and service is five star. The restaurant is a must if you are anywhere near here.

“Good food, great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

Dinner was good, but not great. The place was kind of empty and it seemed we had the place to ourselves.

“Tasty meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Had dinner their our first night after a long flight and were extremely tired. We wanted something to eat quickly and it was next to the hotel we were staying at. I had the Crab Chowder, my husband and son had the fish & chips and our daughter had shrimp linguine which the waiter recommended. We all really enjoyed the food, service and ambience before retiring to bed very early.

“Do not go here for a beer!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We were served by possibly the grumpiest Irishman I have ever met. It looks like this is a reasonable place to go in the day for a bit of chowder, but do not go for the beer. One beer served was off, and the barman refused to change it. It was also very expensive for what you get. Obviously this place is well geared to wringing every last dollar from unsuspecting tourists. We found several places just down the street which had much better beer, food, and service than this dreadful establishment.
