“Great restaurant and evn better service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

We had the pleasure of visiting San Francisco for 3 days while coming back from Hawaii on our honeymoon. We ate at lots of wonderful seafood restaurants while there so going to one in San Francisco seemed like a downgrade but we were way wrong. We loved the ambiance upon entering the restaurant and then we were immediately greeted by a huge smile and professional attitude. It was our waiter, Alex (aka, Alejandro) who was wonderful all throughout the meal and very educated on the menu. He was a pleasure to have serve us so much that when we moved due to a draft, we absolutely made sure he moved with us. When we got the bad news that due to our ordering being around closing, my husband couldn't have his requested meal, we were bummed. But, Alex talked to the manager, he came to the table, and before we knew it, we were eating like kings and got just what we wanted. The manager, Sarper, is excellent at what he does and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable and enjoyable. Absolutely outstanding staff and food!!!

“Lobster with a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

I am usually reluctant when it comes to the "rep welcome meeting" on package holidays but not knowing San Francisco at all we decided to go, and lucky we did as we were recommended this lovely place.

The views across the bay and Alcatraz through the huge windows are wonderful and compliment the great food and service beautifully.

We enjoyed it so much we went back again despite the plethora of other places to choose from.

Lovely evening, excellent views of the bay, Alcatraz, Angel Island and the huge steam-boat lit up at night with party revellers!

“Just right”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

We went to McCormick and Kuleto's after a long day traversing the hills of San Francisco. I was sure that it would have a wait at 7:30 on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. The place is much bigger than is looks from the outside. We were seated at a table with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. That was the beginning of a great dinner experience.
The menu is extensive and it was hard to decide what to eat. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. After and wedge salad for me and oysters for my husband, I ended up ordering the Sturgeon. It was delicious and a very dense fish. My husband got the Scallops and enjoyed them very much.
I told my husband that I would be happy to go back to McCormick and Kuleto's the next time we are in the wharf district of lovely San Francisco.
