“Good pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

This is a very old restaurant. I have been going there for 20 years. The pizza is really, really good, though I'm sure you could find better. It's got a great atmosphere - dimly lighted, open busy kitchen, always crowded. Just a very cheerful place. The pizza, it seems to me, used to be a bit better, but it's still great. I love this place and I highly recommend it.

“A Neighborhood Staple”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Giorgio's has been here forever. Very consistent. Good pizza. Pastas are old school. If you live in the area and don't want to lose your parking space... this is a great option. If you are venturing out... there are certainly better elsewhere in town.

“Fantastic find for delicious comfort food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

We stumbled across Giogio's mid afternoon while looking for something to eat in the local area.
Restaurant was initially quiet but as school and work hours concluded, you could tell this is a go to restaurant for local families. We also noticed more and more staff clocking on - always a good sign that the excellent derive we experienced would continue through peak hours!

We shared some buffalo wings as our appetiser. Really juicy, strong smokey buffalo sauce flavours and tasty creamy blue cheese dip. Best wings of the holiday, and we tried a few!

We then has the parmigiana and the meatball subs with salad. Plenty of sub filling, the tomato sauce on both tasted very homemade - delicious!

All the other meals we spotted in the restaurant looked yummy too; the pizzas were HUGE!

Really reasonably priced and seemed they also do takeaway.

“Great Pizza, Nostalgic Setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

The pizza at Giorgio's is excellent! The dough has the ideal texture, the tomato sauce has just the right flavor and mouth feel, and the toppings are creative and flavorful. But that's not what makes this place amazing.

Giorgio's has that old time nostalgia feel to it, and it's authentic. I actually heard people inside talking about eating here for 40 years, and I am quite envious of that. There was a group of work associates at one table, a softball team at another, and even a birthday celebration was taking place at yet another table. Each group walked in as if this was their own restaurant, and sat down at what appeared to be the same table they have always sat at, and even in the same seat.

Dining at Giorgio's is fun, emotional, and most importantly, very tasty. Stay simple here and taste the purity of the flavors. The Margherita or Plain pizzas are out of this world!
