“Best meal I have had in a long time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012 via mobile

We took the advice of other reviewers and ordered the soup and tea leaf salad. Both were amazing. We split an entree and were glad we did as there was plenty of food. We had the mint chicken. Wasn't as spicy as we like but was good. Can definitely taste the mint. Hubby had the Burma cooler to drink and loved it. The place is busy- took 44 mins to get a table for two at 645p. The restaurant is small and cozy- you sit close to your neighbors. We are very glad we ate here.

“Worth the side trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012 via mobile

Had to go out of the way to get here but it was worth it. Had the fiery vegetables with tofu which is good but not very 'fiery'. Also had the Burmese Style Curry w catfish and that was great so it made up for the other. It was great to see a tomato based curry so we could eat it. We then topped off the meal with mango sorbet (very well balanced) and an intriguing dish 'jack starfruit chocolate banana' which was a spring roll filled with starfruit, banana and chocolate and served with ice cream. Great end to the meal

“beyond our expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

This place was recommended by a friend from SFO and we were so glad we found this gem! Tried burmese food for the first time, it was really nice and unique. Since it was the first time, a chef came and explained the cuisine and talked about it, which was a really nice touch. Loved the samusa soup, definitely try that. Quantity and the spice level were just perfect. Also tried the burmese curries and tea leaf salad, turned out great too. The coconut rice is another must try, just sweet enough. A nice exotic dinner for an all vegetarian group like us. Overall, its a great experience for people who want to try cuisine from this part of the world.
