“Classic Urban Park with awesome mature trees”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

The park holds plenty of historical references to SF's past. Worlds Fair,Japanese Garden, Conservatory of flowers, etc.The park is well maintained with cloud forest type flowers and trees. Mature Cypress give it a mystical feel. The museums are great. The Botanical Garden has a collection from all over the globe that thrives in the unique frost free climate of SF.

“Paddle Boats”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

Great walk through. Lots of little places on the way to look at.
Small turtles in the lake when you take out the pedal boats. Even in the cool of winter the place is beautiful

“Great way to see the city and exercise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

Popped into the Presidio first before heading to Golden Gate Park, the park is just incredible you can relax under a tree, walk around or just look at all the hidden statues obscured by trees. The designer of the park did not want it filled with statues so every time a statue is placed, shrubs and saplings are placed in front of them so it is like a treasure hunt to find the hidden statues. It is very well kept and parking is easy just do it in designated spots as the brown bombers (parking inspectors) are like clockwork. This is a must see when you are in San Francisco.

“Art in Golden Gate Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

We were very much impressed with the works of art we saw around.
We went to a Japanese Tea Garden and liked it. We love coming to the tea garden. The Asia style is cool, and they have a lot of cool features there. walking around and looking at all the lush green trees, plants and flowers was so relaxing. They have a tea house where you can have a cup of tea and some japanese treats. Stop and count the Koi in the pond... when you are done walk over to the California academy of sciences and stare at the jelly fish. Great place to bring your friends. Great for family outings as well.
