Recently had 2 stays with the family in this hotel which is located really close to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli's. Overall the experience was quite positive, nice clean rooms with good bathrooms and a quirky "marine/nautical" theme to the place. Front desk and concierge were very nice and helpful. We did have some issues with the restaurant though - waiting line for breakfast although there were quite a few empty tables inside (which suggests the kitchen could not cope with full capacity), incorrect orders coming through, some dirty cups and glasses, etc. The waiters tried to do their best but they were clearly running around very hassled. Food was ok though but not excellent. Happy hour from 5-6 but we gave it a miss each time as it was absolutely packed! Valet parking is extremely expensive so I would recommend to park a bit further down Beach Street in the Anchorage Square parking.
