The location of this Hotel is without doubt its greatest asset , the cable cars and F-line streetcars are within a 2 minute walk making it easy to reach much of the city from this central location whilst also being on the doorstep of the central shopping area around Market Street and the fantastic Westfield shopping mall. Powell St BART station is also just a short walk away and a great way to get to and from the airport cheaply (if you dont have too many bags) with tickets costing around $5.35 each way. We considered the price to be good considering the inclusion of breakfast, however tere is no seating dining area and breakfast turned out to be nothng more than a small room/cupboard with a coffee machine and a toaster, my advice would be to eat out. The rooms are small but still comfortable and are well stocked with (expensive) drinks and snacks. The bathroom was modern and clean and actually more spacious than the rest of the room. The rooms are not air conditioned and as they are so small it can get a little warm at times however elecric fans are provided. The Infusion lounge below is ultra stylish and seems to attract the more elite of San Fransiscos's clubbers way into the early hours, the music can be heard in the hotel so if u fancy an early night ask to be on the third floor or above. Overall Hotel Fusion was great value for money,(if you dont mind not having a room with a view or a good breakfast). I would definitely stay there again as It had everything we needed and provided an ideal base to get around San Francisco.
