We picked Green Hills based on the reviews and their web site as we were looking for a small semi-private tour and we are very glad we did. Aloys, our driver guide and part owner of GH, picked us up promptly at our hotel in an 8 passenger, Nissan Van. We had four other people in our group and they were a hoot ( we all had a great time). Aloys started off the tour by stopping a couple of places for photos and then, on to Napa & Sonoma Valley. He popped a bottle of Champagne and we were on our merry way to Gundlach Bundshu Winery. This was a superb starting place as they explained the various wines we were tasting as well as the history of the vineyards. Next stop was Homewood Winery, another small winery we very good wines. Let me add that we were never rushed even though we spent longer at places than planned. We had lunch at Bistro Don Giovanni (great place, excellent food). Then, to Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and Elizabeth Spencer Wines. On the way back (another bottle of Champagne), we drove thru Yountville, then, a drive through Sausalito, stopped at the lockout for Golden Gate Bridge and drove down Lombard Street. It was a very full, relaxing day and enjoyable trip. In my estimation, Aloys went above and beyond what we expected and it was greatly appreciated.
