“Friendly and Fun SF B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

A wonderfully quirky restored Victorian with an owner and manager who are equally wonderful, and extremely helpful and knowledgable with any local info or special requests you might need. Just remember this is a beautiful and interesting 125 year old home, and so room sizes, water heating, decor, etc. may not be the same as a new luxury hotel; so adjust your expectations accordingly. But if you want a true SF experience, with a convenient location a few blocks from a BART station, this is the place to stay! Delicious home cooked breakfasts with lots of variety to choose from served at a big homey kitchen table or al fresco on the beautiful garden patios.

And when we return, I'm sure we will feel like family coming back to visit!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it's fantastic... Cindy is very friendly and very welcoming (she was welcoming us by name before we'd even got out of our cab!) and ever so slightly crazy and made us feel at home immediately. The B&B itself is very nicely done out, the breakfast is fantastic and the location was perfect.

Our room was downstairs and did everything we needed it to, the bathroom is big and the shower is at least a double...

We'll definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Spent 2nights in June.Easy walk to Valencia in MisSion District, easy walk /up24th to Noe Valley. The owners were very accommodating to my husband to store his bicycle inside so it would not get stolen. Breakfast was outstanding, including 2hot dishes, and a full fruit and bread buffet. we stayed in the Venetian room, and although the bathroom is small, everything functions well, and there's a nice
peep at the garden out of one window. This B and B is definitely going to become a repeat hotel for us as we come up to SF several times a year. This is a nice alternative to being in a busy downtown hotel, little noise at night, and a nice quiet feel to living in a neighborhood of SF.

Sheila is fabulous! A little quirky but a great host and her dining recommendations are spot on. The home is wonderful, we stayed in the Venetian/Victorian room and were very comfortable. The bathroom was a tad small but not a problem at all.
The location is also great; it's own neighborhood with great cafe's & dining and it's a very easy train or car ride to wherever else you wanted to go.

Stayed for 2 nights during 3rd week of April. Sheila Chapeau room is in back of inn, overlooking garden with its own private balcony. Photos on website say it all- the perfect place to stay when in San Francisco. Amazing breakfasts. Cindy, Sheila and Carmela are very welcoming and take care of your every need.

Recently, my wife and I stayed at Noe's Nest in the heart of San Francisco. From the moment we got there we felt like welcomed members of the family. The B&B is spotless. There are many different types of rooms to choose from, most with private bathrooms. The owner, Sheila Ash, was very friendly and the manager, Cindy, was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet--to die for--Imagine all of this--fresh coffee, tea, bacon, bagels, fresh fruit, a huge frittata made with local vegetables and cheese, steel cut oatmeal, smoked salmon, cream cheese, and juice. Breakfasts were not only delicious, but needless to say, quite filling and we didn't feel the need for another meal until mid-afternoon! When we made the reservations, we miscalculated our stay because it was a leap year and thought we were booked for one more day than we actually were. Sheila and Cindy were most accommodating and made sure we were able to stay the extra night we needed to be in San Francisco. Rooms range from $135-$285 (for a huge suite)/night and there are several nice restaurants within walking distance. We can't recommend Noe's Nest highly enough and know you will truly enjoy your visit there.

Stayed in the "view room" for one night on a recent trip to SF. I can't say enough good about Noe's Nest. Were treated like true friends by Cindy upon arrival and for the remainder of our stay. Top notch service not to mention a very comfortable, quiet, room with a million dollar view. Very cool experience staying at a B&B for the first time. We will certainly be back in future stays to SF.
