I'm really impressed by this place! I've only gone for lunch and brunch, but even in a place that must have a dozen brunch places within two blocks, this is the one I keep returning to.
The service really couldn't be nicer. Even though the area is stuffed with boutiques so expensive they give you vertigo, no one at this restaurant is ever snotty or full of themselves. They're all friendly and helpful.
Everyone always seems to prefer the inside, and the inside is comfortable, with a kind of fire-pit couches and chairs affair in the middle, and normal, sturdy tables lining the walls; however, I like the tables and chairs around the outside walls, on a nice day. You order at the counter, and they bring it out to you. Even when there's sort of a long line, it usually comes out to you pretty quickly.
Their mimosas and their fresh-squeezed orange juice are just what you'd want them to be, very sweet. For brunch, I like to get either their specialty bagels (I like the one with bacon and fontina cheese--the bacon is perfectly toothsome), or a turkey and bacon club (add avocado), or their bacon, sauteed pears, and bleu cheese omelette. Save room for their INCREDIBLE ice cream. MAN is that good! Lush, rich chocolate or espresso gelato, so gooey that it wraps around your spoon and won't let go.
Don't let me eat here every day, I'd be huge! But well done!!
