This place kicks!! I award it with a "Muy" (Spanish/Mexican for much) "Yuuryou" (Japanese for excellent) badge. That's because it combines the best of Mexico (tequila) with the best of Japan (sushi) under the management of genius Joseph Manzare. Joseph's genius is not only in his inspiration (sushi & tequila, his faves), it is also in the restaurant's design (so cool/so green/
so comfortable) and his selection of chef: the great Sachio Kojima. Joseph was able to lure Sachio out of retirement and into Hecho's kitchen. What a coup! (Bauer upped his rating to 2.5 stars upon Sachio's arrival, but it belonged there all along.). But it doesn't end there. His GM, Mendoza, concocts a killer fired-up spicy margarita. This "recovering sushi-holic" of over 4 decades is addicted to the place. Don't let the cheapskate reviewers (too expensive) scare you off. The full experience is worth twice the fare!
