A disaster we went 20 th June 2013. The driver Efrin or that is what I think he was called was terrible. He appeared to know very little and his commentary was ill informed, Americas cup is on, but don't known the date, it was on flags hanging from every lamp post he drove past on the front!! 7 th to 21st September! We drove past Strawberry fields and were informed the boxes stacked at the side of the field were strawberry boxes! They gre vegetables in the field but didn't know what type or could have been fruit. You see those houses, don't know how much they cost. We pulled up at a retail complex in Carmel, it has shops in it he helpfully commented! I could go on and on! We got to Monterey 4 hours after being picked up. He said those who had a aquarium ticket was to stay on the bus, he then ordered us off, and we had to wait 5 minutes whilst he rudely told a lady on her own she wasn't on his list and couldn't come in, she showed her viator confirmation, he said not on my list. He then ordered us to follow him for entry. I said my wife and I wished to get a drink, after 4 hours travelling from leaving our hotel. You can't he said and we got into an embarrassing argument in front of the 3 others going in too. Eventually I said I would forget the aquarium, money lost as I just wanted the ticket and to go in at my leisure. When we got back on the bus he came and challenged me in front of the whole bus and said he was just obeying orders. You not mad are you. Not yet was my response. His driving was erratic. Drove most of the way one handed whilst holding a microphone in his hand! Is that legal? He was rude opinionated ill informed and ruined the tour. Don't get me wrong great places visited but the tour really depends on who you get. We went on themonday to Muir Woods Alcatraz etc and the guide was superb. As the tour goes from the top end of fishermens wharf I did not go back to complain as we were leaving the day after! The experience was poor we had to stand at the roadside for 40 minutes waiting for the coach to arrive to so that wasn't a great start!

We are sorry to here about your experience with our driver. We train our drivers to be informative with our tours but we have run into issues with drivers being new to a tour they are not as familiar with the attraction and the landmarks affiliated with it. I am not sure on why the one customer in particular who was not granted access into the aquarium. We are going to discuss this with our driver and find out more about the process. Unfortunately we have to time our guests into the Aquarium at the same time in order for the tour run on time. I have contacted our safety director and the issue has been brought up to his concern about the driver and we will have a sit down with him. We would like to apologize once more for how your tour experience went and we hope that you were still able to enjoy your time in San Francisco.
