“Do a walking tour of the area!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

We went on the best tour through Wild Wes tours...you can find him on facebook. I've visited SF many times in my life, but taking a walking tour of the area is highly recommended!

“Awesome food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Reminded us a lot of NYC. The North Beach and Little Italy areas were full of authenic restaurants. Worth the stroll, day or night!

“San Francisco doesn't have a neighborhood called Little Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

Someone from Los Angeles must have started this posting. San Francisco has never had a neighborhood called Little Italy. The Italian-flavored neighborhood is called North Beach, and has the massive Italian church, St. Peter and Paul's; the Wonderful Washington Square for people-watching, great delicatessens, bakeries and restaurants.

“The second best Little Italy in the country”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Walking around here reminded me of probably my favorite eating spot in the country, Boston's North End. Thats the best, but this is a close second. Just imagine blocks upon blocks of restaurants and the smells coming out of them. Well worth a stop.
