My husband and I stayed for 2 nights during the memorial weekend. I researched like crazy trying to find the best for the budget and this one was it by far. The reviews were what made it for us. I booked directly on their website and was torn between this one and Lombard, the lombard was closer to the wharf but the Coventry had the better reviews and it seemed more updated. I booked about a month before and requested 3rd floor since alot of reviewers were saying that the first floor was just too loud. We arrived earlier than expected but since I made an early check in request our room was ready for us. The room is simple but completely updated and impecably clean. The decor is cute and it had everything we needed. Huge clean bathroom, huge king size temperpedic bed (which was a dream and because of this bed we are purchasing one ourselves!) just wish they had pillows to match theirs were too flat, THE VIEW we had a view of the bridge, since we were there for the 75th Golden Gate Bridge anniversary we had the most magnificent view of the fireworks over the bridge, it was perfect. There wasnt always parking but we would just double park and leave the key (no issues), We would walk to the best breakfast down the street to Homeplate (oooh you must try them best coffee and service but there is also an IHOP accross if you want to play it safe). We mostly left our car their and walked to the wharf most times but we did park our car at the wharf all day for 15 bucks not too bad? I know people said that parking was 30plus dollars?? Not sure where they were parking?? I would definately stay here again or any of their other sister hotels!
