Owner description: At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, there is a series of stunning views at every turn in this wild and windy trail. Hillsides of cypress and wildflowers, views of shipwrecks and access to the ruins of Sutro baths, a San Francisco specials memory.

“Awesome park with tons of trails and sweeping views of the bay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2011

I stopped at this park while driving along the coast toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Lots and lots of trails, views of the bridge and bay. Particularly beautiful at sunset. Bring your camera!

“Must Do!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2010

This is an absolute "must do" for anyone fit & able - I have never done a more beautiful walk. We started at Ocean Beach and walked around to Crissy Field - I think it was around 3 hours but I lost track of how much we stopped to enjoy the views. Just beautiful - please don't miss this!

“Most beautiful part of San Francisco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2010

My in-laws took us here. We parked in a parking lot and took about a 15 minute hike down to the beach. Make sure to wear good shoes and watch your kids because it gets narrow and steep and the walk back up can be a bit tiring. The trail is pretty and the view from the beach at the bottom of the hill is breathtaking. It is windy and cold so good idea to wear a sweatshirt or light jacket. We spent 6 days in San Francisco with native's as our guide. By far, this was the most beautiful and serene part of our trip. I wish it had been warm enough to eat at the Park Chalet but, it was just too cold that day. What a peaceful place. This is the place that makes me long to go back to San Francisco.
