I arrived on my own in San Francisco for a few days before I met up with a tour group to travel the down the coast. This hotel was in the perfect location with only a 15/20 min walk to Fishermans Wharf. The hotel does not include breakfast but there are so many cafes and restaurants to choose from at any time. The staff were very helpful in telling me the best ways to get to and from Fishermans Wharf, Union Square etc. They gave good but honest restaurant suggestions which was fantastic. The room is basic and albeit a little dark due to the lighting but it was very clean.

I had to move to a Best Value Inn close in Union Square to meet with the group and was so glad I had chosen the Boheme hotel for my first few days as it gave me the best location and made me feel safe for my first few days on my own. All in all, brill hotel!

My wife and I stayed here for nine days and really enjoyed our stay. Great location - lots of stores and restaurants right out the front door. Within walking distance to Chinatown, Union Square and Fishermans Wharf. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Clean room. Bathroom a little small but we didn't mind. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights during October, This is a lovely little boutique hotel in fantastic location in san francisco. The customer service was excellent from checking in to leaving. Always helpful. The sherry was great :)
There is no safe in the room, but there are safety boxes with reception which we used free of charge.
The toiletries are lovely (lemongrass).
We had a room right on the front over the road and having read the reviews, took ear plugs and as a result there was no problem with noise at all.
Although the room was small it was quaint and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but the only drawback for me was that there was no breakfast and I thought it was expensive ($240 a night before tax). I felt paying predominantly for location.
I did return to SF as part of this trip but chose to stay in alternative accomodation for less money with breakfast included (location was not so important this time around as knew the area).

Great location in North Beach.
Hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated , our room was quite small so difficult with 2 large suitcases.Beautiful art deco bathroom with lovely towels and soaps.
The staff were over and above helpful, dealing with airline issues and arranged inexpensive transportation to the airport.
They also had recommendations of where to eat.
North Beach has lots of restaurants/cafes/shopping - easy walk to Chinatown, Fisherman's Warf, Telegraph Hill etc.
