“An interesting stroll”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Jam-packed with interesting souvenir shops and food stalls. I was there with my kids and they don't like seafood so I sought out an Italian restaurant on Pier 39 that was very average - the little food stalls selling fresh crab looked far more appealing to me !

“a fun spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Though it is extremely busy and touristy, it's still a neat place to stop at! Be sure to check out all the sea lions at Pier 39 and the various street performers in the area. We ate at The Crab House for lunch, and though it was a bit pricey, the food was DELICIOUS!

“Great spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

This is a beautiful area filled with shops, vendors, many street performers, and the gorgeous wharf. It is so neat to stroll up and down the wharf, see the sea lions and people watch.

“Eat here!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Best place in San Francisco to eat. Grab some clam chowder or a fish sandwich to walk around with. It's a great place to kill some time, enjoy the busy bustling atmosphere and souvenir shop.

“good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

lots of yummy food - crab and prawns to die for all there onsale. Shame that the place is also full of tourist nik nak shops that all sell the same tack. Check out the cool house shop next to Ross dress for less a road back for some unusual ware and great chocolate wine!
