“can't miss. what an atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

lots of people, beautiful deck, lots of nice cute stores to check (don't have to buy, just visit), and the part i liked the most- the sea whales observation spot! so cool! it's just a really nice feeling strolling around. yes it's kind of touristy, but still very enjoyable and hey- we were tourists so.. lol :)
just go and you'll understand what i am talking about.

“Half Naked Bums Dancing to Street Musicians”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

I found this area to be dirty and filled with these small vendors just trying to get some money out of you. Trash all over the street and Drugged up Hippies/Bums in this area.
Avoid the Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl sold by the Oriental vendors, they only hollow out a small area so they can skimp on how much Chowder they have to give you.
We ended up eating Chowder from Boudins, tastes good, clean and their Restroom Upstairs are extremely clean.

Highly doubt I would ever bring my family here again, we were not impressed, in fact it was disgusting.

“its 2013...some people haven't got the memo yet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

This place has more character than the rest of the big US cities put together. Easy to find characters who still dress and act as if its the 60's...some may think they are a nuisance but I think they massively contribute to the atmosphere of the place. One of the best places to hang out (and have some Chowder) in San Francisco....

“Fun Exploration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Like being a kid again, Fisherman's Wharf has many adventures waiting to be explored. There were great places a long the pier to shop, eat, and sight see. Definitely worth the trip. Make sure to grab some clam chowder and fish and chips to eat. The shops along the streets away from the wharf are great places to shop and can provide a great deal when you talk the shop owners into giving you a better deal. Found some great jewelry and sweatshirts this way. We had so much fun there!

“The Gem of the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

We spent a part of each of our 4 day trip at Wharf. It didn't disappoint! From the great food, to the live entertainment, to the view of the bay - all just great and lots of fun. I could sit and look at the view of the golden gate bridge over the bay for hours at a time. The people here are very friendly. If you get a chance, visit Alionti and ask the bartender for his special hot chocoloate - awesome! It was perfect for the 65 degree whether. It's only downfall is that it's very very busy. But, it's still a great time to be had. The crowd just lets you know it's the place to be.
