“Greates Views in City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

You won´t find better views than the ones in Twin Peaks. It´s hard to find the way by car, at least we had to do some extra bloks to find out we need to ask and finaly get up!. Amazing views, the best in the city. Belive me, won´t see any where else the city (360 degrees) as in Twin Peaks

“Nice view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

We rented a Piaggio MP3 500 and toured part of the city, and this was part. We rode the curvy roadway to the top where we enjoyed the view, well what we could see poking out of the fog.

“A great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

And worth the drive to the top! But the weird little bathroom with the unreliably opening and closing doors and retracting toilet is disgusting so GO before you go!!!

“An absolute must for great views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

The Marin headlands can often be shrouded in fog in the summer months. Even on a sunny day, the weather can be unpredictable. Bring a jacket. The wind can be fierce.

The headlands can be approached on foot or by car. Most tourists park in the parking lot on the city side of SF, and then walk across the Golden Gate Bridge (which is itself marvelous to observe the bridge's engineering, the Bay, the water, the city skyline, the boats and ships, and the Presidio). On foot, it will take about 1.5 hours at a relaxed amble to get to the headlands. One can cross the bridge by car and then drive to the headlands by turning right immediately after the bridge and climbing the hill up. You will observe many diehard bicyclists climbing these hills. Once you arrive, you will see the beautiful entrance to the headlands trail. There is a short hike to the top, and the you will be rewarded (on a clear day) with a fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city beyond. It is beyond picture perfect. Bring binoculars for a great view of the waterfront. You will also see the splendid natural beauty around the Marin headlands, far away from the bustle of the city. Not accessible to wheelchairs or handicapped, a strenuous hike only for those <age 2 and those with serious health problems.

“A little place locals know of .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

With an unmatched view of the entire city of San Francisco. Ask anyone local for directions and then wind your way up by car to this spot.
