“Experience the Bridge and more...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

The Golden Gate Bridge is a must see when in San Francisco. And if you choose to walk or bike it you'll get a chance to see it up close. But don't stop at just the bridge. San Francisco has done a great job at maintaining the parks area around the bridge. The area is well maintained and there are lots of options for walking and biking. Would definitely recommend this beautiful recreation area.

“A National Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

We took out of town guests for a drive through the GGNRA yesterday. This is something we do with virtually all visitors, since it is extraordinary to have this great seacoast area available within five minutes of the Golden Gate Bridge and know that no development is possible to ruin the area in the future. I strongly recommend tourists who want an exceptional out of doors experience when visiting the Bay Area to rent a car and drive through western Marin and Sonoma counties. Much of southern Marin is part of GGNRA. I also strongly recommend a documentary film from 2012 called "Rebels with a Cause" that tells the story of how this jewel has been preserved.

“Just over the bridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

We stopped on both the south bound and north bound exits to the area. The sites are great and the trails are great on the more western area. The bikes going up and down all the switchbacks were a surpise to the drive to the top but we got there early in the morning and had most of the sites to ourselves.
