This place was less than mediocre. After hearing from friends that this place was"great," my boyfriend and I went to try it out. First of all, we were seated at a tiny table pushed up against the wall (do they think thid is the north end?) Waiter was pleasant. We ordered the lobster mac and crab cakes, as that is what people have been raving about. Can yoy say dry noodles sittung on top of a pool of garlic sauce? There was nothing cheesy about this mac and cheese. We also split the crab cakes...dry, no crab meat to be found. We expressed our feelings with our waiter ( we ate about half the meal). The waiter took our plates away and came back offering free dessert. Wow, who cares about free dessert. He never brought a manager over and did bring us a bill for the full price of the meal. We called the restaurant the nect day and spoke with the owner. He got completly deffensive when he heard our story, saying that he has "never had any complaints." He also said he needed to speak with the waiter and get his side of the story before he would offer us a gift card. He called back and offered $20 gify card, which was half of what our bill came to with tip.
