We chose this Best Western for its proximity to Acadia National Park, as well as for the reviews we'd seen on Trip Advisor. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. All the buildings are non-smoking and one-story, so you have no upstairs neighbors. But they are so well constructed that we never heard our next-door neighbors, and the hotel seemed full every night (judging from the cars parked in front of all doors). The room was perfect -- we had 2 very comfortable queen beds, lots of pillows, plenty of electrical outlets, plus good TV and wi-fi reception. The bathroom had a sink outside the bath/toilet room, AND a nice pull-across door which could close off the sink/closet area if needed. We were just steps away from the office on one side and the breakfast room/pool on the other. Carole, the breakfast attendant, is mentioned in the orientation materials for good reason -- she is a treasure trove of information about the area, and no question you can ask is insignificant. All the advice she gave us regarding restaurants, routes, side trips, and area history proved accurate and useful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful and constantly restocked. There were several varieties of omelets, sausage links, various breads and pastries, cereals, juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, and good coffee. No one should go away hungry! Complaints about the small breakfast room should cease by next year, as there are plans to build a separate breakfast building with a larger capacity (and then convert the rest of the existing building into more king suites). But there were trays so that you could carry your breakfast back to the table in your room, if necessary, although we always managed to find seats in the dining area. The front desk staff are also unfailingly pleasant, attentive, and helpful, and there are hot beverages available in the lobby at all times, as well as the delicious afternoon cookies (several flavors, all good). We would not hesitate to stay again at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn.
As far as we could tell, there are no bad rooms!

Thank you very much for your awesome review! My goodness!! I believe you covered everything. It is just so heartwarming to have a guest like us so well! We know we are doing our jobs well when we get reviews such as yours. Carole, our breakfast hostess, is a wealth of knowledge and yes, she is mentioned in our welcome letter. (Now you can see why.) Our guests find her so friendly and helpful with their questions on the local area. We have the plans ready and hope to break ground on our new and improved breakfast room soon! I do hope you will be able to visit with us again in 2014.Thank you so much! Warm regards, Jane
