We went here for my husband's birthday, and it was really special. The ever-changing menu is fantastic, and the food is second-to-none. We started out with white asparagus and ramp & sunchoke soups, then moved on to divine clams steamed in a spicy-smoky broth I can't remember the name of. The clams were the best thing I ate in our whole week in Bar Harbor, and the broth so delicious I used the provided spoon to finish it after the clams were long gone. For dinner I had fresh perch and my husband ate the duck breast. The duck is unreal. He said that of his many ventures to known steakhouses (Ruth's Chris, etc.) and all of the steaks he has had globaly, that this duck breast takes the cake. We've been back for nearly a week and he's still raving about it, the delicious layer of fat, carmelized almost like Brazillian picanha, the seasoning, the juicy tender meat.......and the deserts......boiled lemon cake, lavender creme brulee.....you have to go!
