“Lobstah time!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Very good lobster here. And reasonably priced. Excellent chowder and a varied menu. Cozy porch seating with heatwers for cooler days and nights.

“Check out the pet friendly patio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We have eaten here two years in a row while vacationing in Bar Harbor in June. The chief attraction for us is the convenient, downtown location, just far enough away from the hubbub of the town center, and the pet-friendly patio, which, although on the street, is enclosed by nice plantings, giving it a secluded feeling. The heat lamps are a nice touch, extending the outdoor season during chilly summer evenings.

“upscale pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Fun upscale casual- beautiful patio dining. Inside, copper topped bars and tables lit by individual red lamps. Great martini and selection of beers and wines. American food: Lobster, scallops etc. Hamburger at the bar was fantastic for $9.95 with gouda, and fries. Visited 2 nights in a row. Also has upstairs bar and dining. Weather was a little cool for patio which is beautiful

“Good but not spectacular”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

The restaurant itself was very nice; cozy, well-appointed with good service. Unfortunately the food was ordinary. There was just something a bit off in the preparation of both the risotto and the lobster mac and cheese. The dishes lacked a wow factor.

“Okay -- but not great . . .”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

When I read some of the reviews for this place, I think to myself, "Did we eat at the same place?" or . . . "Have you ever eaten really good food?"

This place is average in food quality -- way above average in price . . .

I did like the inside of the restaurant . . . and I thought the staff was nice . . .

Food though, was adequate -- and considering the price, way below average . . .

Disappointed . . .
